Blake Shelton joins 2020 ‘iHeartCountry Festival Presented by Capital One’ lineup

Audio leader iHeartMedia has announced that US Country music singer and television celebrity Blake Shelton will join the lineup for the 2020 “iHeartCountry Festival Presented by Capital One” on May 2 at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas.

iHeartMedia is the leading audio company in the United States. Reaching nine out of 10 Americans every month – and with its quarter of a billion monthly listeners, it also has a greater reach in the US than any other media outlet.

The seventh annual festival will also feature performances from Lady Antebellum, Hot Country Knights, Dierks Bentley, Dustin Lynch, Sam Hunt, Kelsea Ballerini, Jon Pardi, Kane Brown, Chase Rice, Bobby Bones and more.

Shelton said on the occasion, “I’m excited to join my friends and fellow country artists for my first iHeartCountry Festival performance.”

He added, “It’s always a good time playing to Texas crowds and I’m looking forward to an evening of country music and maybe a little vodka to add to the party!”

As of November 2019, Blake Shelton has charted 40 singles, including 26 number ones, 17 of which were consecutive. “Doin’ What She Likes,” the 11th No.1, broke “the record for the most consecutive No. 1 singles in the Country Airplay chart’s 24-year history.” Shelton is an eight-time Grammy Award nominee.

Livexlive.com will exclusively livestream the star-studded 2020 event.

Moreover, iHeartMedia’s Country music radio stations will broadcast the event live in their local markets.

iHeartCountry, the largest Country broadcast radio group in America, has over 150 Country stations across the US reaching over 109 million Country music listeners per month on broadcast alone.

iHeartRadio.com will also broadcast the event.

The event is part of iHeartMedia’s roster of nationally-recognized events including iHeartRadio ALTer Ego, iHeartRadio Music Festival, iHeartRadio Wango Tango, the nationwide iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Concert Tour Presented by Capital One, the iHeartRadio Music Awards, iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina and iHeartRadio Podcast Awards.

This year, partners of the event include Care Now, RAM Trucks, Jane, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Wyndham Rewards, Twisted Tea® and the presenting partner, Capital One. More partners will be announced soon.

The festival has a benefiting charity – St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. For every ticket sold, iHeartMedia says it will donate $1 from their proceeds to help fund the hospital’s lifesaving research and treatments.
