Norwegian princess’ ex, Kevin Spacey accuser dies by suicide
Ari Behn, the ex-husband of Norwegian Princess Martha Louise and an actor Kevin Spacey accuser, has died by suicide, reported Fox News, citing Behn’s manager as the source.
Behn, a successful Norwegian writer, was 47, according to CBS News. He was found at his home in Norway.
Princess Louise married Behn on 24th May 2002. They remained together until 2017. The couple share three daughters.
Behn accused Kevin Spacey of groping him at a 2007 Nobel Peace Prize concert, according to Yahoo! Entertainment, which also quotes Behn, citing the BBC as the source.
“We had a great talk, he sat right beside me. After five minutes, he said, ‘Hey, let’s go out and have a cigarette.’ Then he puts his hand under the table and grabs me by the balls,” Behn said.
“Er, maybe later,” Behn said he told Spacey.
Behn added, “My hair was dark at the time, I was 10 years younger and right up his alley.”
Spacey has largely disappeared from the limelight following sexual misconduct allegations made by more than a dozen men against him. He did not respond to Behn’s allegation at the time.
Behn is the third Spacey accuser to die in 2019.
King Harald of Norway released a short statement after the news of his former son-in-law’s death.
The statement, which is on behalf of both His Majesty and Queen Sonja, reads, “It is with great sadness that the Queen and I have received the message of Ari Behn’s passing. Ari has been an important part of our family for many years, and we carry warm, fond memories of him,” according to Royal Central.
Moreover, Crown Prince Haakoon and his family said in a statement, “For us, Ari was a good friend, a dear family member and a wonderful uncle, with whom we shared many of life’s small and big moments. It is with great sadness that we have received the message of his passing away.”
