‘The Family Plan’ world premiere held in Las Vegas

Written by a human

Apple Original Films held the world premiere event for their new action-comedy movie, “The Family Plan,” Thursday night at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

The Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Monaghan starrer movie is premiering globally on Apple TV+ today.

Wahlberg himself is one of the movie’s producers. He produced it under his own production company, Municipal Pictures.

“The Family Plan” is the only feature-length movie Wahlberg has starred in this year, according to his IMDB page, which says that in 2022, he starred in three feature films. Of the five upcoming feature-length films the Hollywood hunk will be starring in, two will be releasing in 2024, while of the remaining three, one is in post-production and the two are in pre-production stages.

Besides Wahlberg and Monaghan, “The Family Plan” top cast includes Ciarán Hinds, Maggie Q, Zoe Margaret Colletti, Felicia Pearson, Saïd Taghmaoui, Van Crosby, Savanna Gann, Jonny Coyne, Valkyrae, Hayley Keown, Olivia Healey, Anisa Nyell Johnson, Miles Doleac, Angelica DeChavez, Cate Jones and Susana Dragañac.

“The Family Plan” story synopsis, which was distributed by Apple Original Films to members of the press, reads, “Dan Morgan (Mark Wahlberg) loves his quiet suburban life as a devoted husband, father of three and successful car salesman. But that’s only half the story. Decades earlier, he was an elite government assassin tasked with eliminating the world’s deadliest threats. When enemies from his past track him down, Dan packs his unsuspecting wife (Michelle Monaghan), angsty teen daughter, pro-gamer teen son and adorable 10-month-old baby into their minivan and takes off on an impromptu cross-country road trip to Las Vegas. Determined to protect his family — while treating them to the vacation of a lifetime — Dan must put his long-dormant skills into action, without revealing his true identity.”

Apple Original Films has also distributed to members of the media images from the premiere event attended by the star cast Thursday night. Here are the photos
