‘The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard”s trailer, poster, new image released

Star-studded “The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard”‘s teaser trailer, poster and a new image have been released by the movie’s distributor, Lionsgate.

[Not to do that again] the cast of “The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard” includes Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson, Salma Hayek, with Antonio Banderas, and Morgan Freeman, Frank Grillo, Caroline Goodall, Rebecca Front, Gabriella Wright, Alice McMillan, Kristofer Kamiyasu, Tom Hopper, Blake Ritson, with Richard E. Grant.

The action-comedy film, which is a sequel to the 2017 movie “The Hitman’s Bodyguard,” is hitting theaters June 16.

The sequel’s screenplay is by English comedian, TV presenter and actor Tom O’Connor and Phillip Murphy & Brandon Murphy on a story and based on characters created by O’Connor. The film is directed by Patrick Hughes (“Red Hill,” “The Expendables 3”). O’Connor wrote and Hughes directed the first movie.

The film centers on “the world’s most lethal odd couple – bodyguard Michael Bryce” (Reynolds) “and hitman Darius Kincaid” (Jackson), who “are back on another life-threatening mission.”

“Still unlicensed and under scrutiny, Bryce is forced into action by Darius’s even more volatile wife, the infamous international con artist Sonia Kincaid” (Hayek). “As Bryce is driven over the edge by his two most dangerous protectees, the trio get in over their heads in a global plot and soon find that they are all that stand between Europe and a vengeful and powerful madman” (Banderas). “Joining in the fun and deadly mayhem is” Freeman “as…well, you’ll have to see,” says the movie’s synopsis.
