NVIDIA announces GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition giveaway

NVIDIA has announced a giveaway for the GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition. This new GPU is part of the broader GeForce RTX 50 Series and promises to redefine gaming performance and graphics quality. The announcement was made with a video clip of the Founders Edition on NVIDIA GeForce’s official X account, highlighting its impressive features and offering users a chance to win one.

The post mentions that the Founders Edition includes innovative technologies like DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, ultimate responsiveness with Reflex 2 and a new Double Flow Through design, which significantly enhances cooling efficiency and overall performance.

To participate in the giveaway, users are encouraged to comment #GeForceRTX50 on the post.

This giveaway is part of NVIDIA’s broader initiative to promote the GeForce RTX 50 Series, which boasts several significant upgrades designed to enhance both gaming and creative experiences.

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang introduced the latest GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards during his keynote speech at CES 2025 in Las Vegas on Monday. These new GPUs are designed to improve gaming and creative experiences, using advanced technology to make computer graphics look even more realistic and impressive.

The new GPUs are not just for desktops but also for laptops, offering better graphics and longer battery life. NVIDIA’s Blackwell Max-Q technology helps extend battery life by up to 40% while keeping devices slim and stylish.

One of the key features of the RTX 50 Series is DLSS 4. This technology uses AI to boost game performance up to 8 times compared to traditional methods. It makes games look better and run smoother by enhancing stability and detail and reducing visual issues like ghosting.

The GPUs also introduce RTX Neural Shaders, which use AI to improve how light and textures are rendered in games. Digital human technologies make virtual characters look more lifelike, with better skin, hair and facial expressions.

Additionally, the NVIDIA Broadcast app has new tools for livestreamers, improving audio quality and lighting for a more professional look.

The GeForce RTX 5090 and 5080 models will be available starting January 30.

“For desktop users, the GeForce RTX 5090 GPU with 3,352 AI TOPS and the GeForce RTX 5080 GPU with 1,801 AI TOPS will be available on Jan. 30 at $1,999 and $999, respectively,” says the NVIDIA press release.

The company goes on to say, “The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU with 1,406 AI TOPS and GeForce RTX 5070 GPU with 988 AI TOPS will be available starting in February at $749 and $549, respectively.”

NVIDIA further adds, “The NVIDIA Founders Editions of the GeForce RTX 5090, RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 GPUs will be available directly from nvidia.com and select retailers worldwide,” before concluding, “Laptops with GeForce RTX 5090, RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPUs will be available starting in March, and RTX 5070 Laptop GPUs will be available starting in April from the world’s top manufacturers, including Acer, ASUS, Dell, GIGABYTE, HP, Lenovo, MECHREVO, MSI and Razer.”
