TCL to present next-gen Mini-LED tech at CES 2020

Multinational electronics company TCL has announced that it will showcase the next generation of its Mini-LED technology at CES 2020 in Las Vegas, January 7-10.

A dominant player in the global TV industry and leading consumer electronics company, TCL will also be presenting a full suite of its flagship innovations at the event.

“Already one of the fastest-growing consumer electronics brands thanks to its advanced TV solutions, including bringing the world’s first television utilizing high-performance Mini-LED back-lights to North America and Europe earlier this year, TCL continues to improve and drive the penetration of Mini-LEDs,” says a company press release.

TCL says that Quantum Contrast technology has established a new TV picture quality standard and to meet that standard, its most premium models come with tens of thousands of individual Mini-LEDs to deliver a display with “unrivaled contrast and brilliant clarity.”

The company says it will once again raise the bar and showcase the next generation of Mini-LED performance at its CES press conference in Ballroom D, Oceanside, Mandalay Bay Convention Center at 12pm PST on Jan. 6.

TCL Industrial Holdings and TCL Electronics CEO Kevin Wang said, “TCL is thrilled to be at tech’s biggest show and stand on tech’s grandest stage to share our latest Mini-LED developments alongside our vision for the industry in the AI and IoT age.”

He added, “TCL is committed to offering a wider range of products to satisfy the needs of consumers and provide them with better, more personalized experiences. Like all of our products, I hope this new line of TVs improves their lives by bringing joy into homes worldwide.”

The consumer electronics firm will also be streaming its CES announcements through its social media profiles.

Their booth number at the CES 2020 is 12930.

In addition to TVs, TCL’s primary products are DVD players, mobile phones, air conditioners, home appliances, digital media and electric lighting.
