And here is the official teaser trailer:

“Bill & Ted Face The Music” is the third movie in the Bill & Ted franchise and a sequel to “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure” (1989) and “Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey” (1991).

Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves reprise their roles of the title characters of William “Bill” S. Preston, Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan, respectively. William Sadler also reprises his role as the Grim Reaper.

Other actors in the movie include Samara Weaving, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Scott Mescudi (Kid Cudi), Kristen Schaal, Anthony Carrigan, Erinn Hayes, Jayma Mays, Jillian Bell, Holland Taylor, Beck Bennett, Hal Landon Jr. and Amy Stoch.

Directed by Dean Parisot (“Galaxy Quest”) with returning franchise screenwriters Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson, the movie continues to track the time-traveling exploits of Bill and Ted.

“Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it,” says the official one-pager Orion Pictures released for the press back in March. “Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends — to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.”

The movie is produced by Alex Lebovici, Steve Ponce and Scott Kroopf.

While the screenplay had been outlined as early as 2010, there were difficulties finding a distributor to back production. A distribution deal had been secured by May 2018 and the movie entered the pre-production phase. Filming officially began on July 1 last year.
