Kevin Brady asks constituents to choose impeachment or USMCA
US Congressman Kevin Brady is asking his constituents in a poll to let him know whether they think passing the United States – Mexico – Canada Agreement (USMCA) should be a priority in Congress or the bicameral legislature should pursue impeachment of President Donald Trump.
In a message sent from his official US House of Representatives email address, Congressman Brady writes, “While Democratic House leadership is focused on impeachment, I’m focused on addressing the real issues facing my constituents.”
He adds, “When it comes to trade, we need an updated agreement with Mexico and Canada – and no state stands to benefit more from this agreement than Texas.”
“That’s why I’m committed to passing the United States – Mexico – Canada Agreement (USMCA).”
Brady then asks his constituents to let him know what they think.
The poll by Brady offers to select one of three choices: “Yes, I want to increase trade in Texas,” “No, we should waste time on impeachment,” or “Other.”
The poll taker must provide their email address for them to successfully submit their choice in the survey (the “I’m not a robot” reCAPTCHA that many online forms these days use is also required to be solved).
The survey may be taken on Brady’s subdomain of the House website, here.
