Meghan Trainor set to perform at 2025 Minnesota State Fair Grandstand Concert Series

Pop artist Meghan Trainor is slated to take the stage at the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 22, as part of the renowned Grandstand Concert Series.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 25. Ticket prices for all reserved seating range from $56 to $91.25, while Party Deck tickets are priced between $112 and $125.75. Tickets can be purchased online via Etix at etix.com or by phone at 800-514-3849. There will be no In-person ticket sales taking place at the State Fairgrounds Ticket Office.

Trainor first made history with her breakthrough single “All About That Bass” in 2014, with the song getting Diamond-certified. Since that time, she has achieved significant success as a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, earning a Grammy Award for Best New Artist, achieving eight multiplatinum singles and two multiplatinum albums, selling out three world tours and penning multiplatinum hits for other artists in both pop and country genres.

Trainor’s career expanded beyond music with her appearances as a judge on FOX’s “The Four: Battle for Stardom” and on “The Voice UK.” In 2020, she released her third full-length album, Treat Myself (Epic Records), which featured platinum-certified songs like “No Excuses,” as well as collaborations with Nicki Minaj (“Nice To Meet Ya”) and the Pussycat Dolls (“Genetics”). In 2021, she served as a judge on “Clash of the Cover Bands” on E! and hosted the show “Top Chef Family Style” on Peacock. In September of that year, Trainor released her first-ever Christmas album, A Very Trainor Christmas, which included the No. 1 holiday radio single “White Christmas” featuring Seth MacFarlane. Her fourth studio album, Takin’ It Back (2022), explored themes of marriage, motherhood and self-confidence, with the certified-platinum hit “Made You Look” becoming a global sensation. The song has garnered over 300 million streams and has been used in over 6 million social media videos.

In March 2023, Trainor released the deluxe edition of her album, Takin’ It Back, which included three additional tracks, such as the single “Mother.” Later that year, she collaborated with Jimmy Fallon on the holiday song “Wrap Me Up,” which debuted on November 17, 2023. Additionally, in April 2023, Trainor published her first book, Dear Future Mama, offering a candid and humorous perspective on pregnancy and motherhood. Later in 2023, she joined the judging panel of “Australian Idol.”

In June 2024, Trainor unveiled her sixth studio album, Timeless, which includes hit song “To the Moon” and a collaboration with T-Pain on another, “Been Like This.” The album’s deluxe edition, released on August 15, 2024, included the track “Criminals,” which gained prominence as the opening theme for Netflix‘s limited series “The Perfect Couple.” The song’s inclusion in the show’s opening credits, choreographed by Charm La’Donna, contributed to its viral success. The series premiered on September 5, 2024, and the dance sequence has been widely discussed for its unique and engaging presentation. The album and her accompanying Timeless Tour were met with success, including sold-out performances at venues like Madison Square Garden and the Kia Forum.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of her debut album, Title, Trainor released a special edition last month on the 28th. This edition includes the original tracks along with two new recordings: a remastered version of “All About That Bass” and a new rendition of “Better When I’m Dancin’” produced by her brother, Justin, for her recent Timeless Tour. Additionally, the album features live performances recorded during her Spotify London sessions. The release is available in various formats, including a 2LP translucent pink vinyl edition with exclusive packaging elements.
