Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski praises platform creator & Trump-named FBI deputy director Dan Bongino

Rumble, a video-sharing platform and cloud services provider, has issued a statement from its CEO and chairman, Chris Pavlovski, celebrating the appointment of Dan Bongino as the deputy director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the Trump Administration.

Pavlovski lauded Bongino as a trailblazer in digital content creation and a staunch defender of free speech, noting his pivotal role in Rumble’s growth since joining in 2020.

Bongino, one of the platform’s earliest major creators, has shattered livestreaming records, consistently drawing massive audiences, said Pavlovski in the statement. He also highlighted Bongino’s belief in self-expression as a fundamental right and his skill in using open dialogue to counter opposing views.

The CEO expressed pride in their personal bond, calling Bongino a mentor and lifelong friend, and extended best wishes for his new role serving the American public under President Trump’s leadership.

President Donald Trump announced Bongino’s appointment in a Truth Social post, framing it as a victory for law enforcement and justice. Trump praised Bongino’s credentials, including a Master’s in Psychology from C.U.N.Y. and an MBA from Penn State, alongside his experience as a New York Police Department officer and Secret Service Special Agent.

The president emphasized Bongino’s success as a podcaster, noting his willingness to step away from that career to join forces with incoming FBI Director Kash Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi to restore fairness and order.

In a separate post, President Trump touched on Bongino’s personal life, spotlighting his supportive wife, Paula, and two daughters, predicting an exceptional tenure for the new deputy director.

Pavlovski’s statement underscored the new FBI deputy director’s impact on Rumble, crediting The Dan Bongino Show with driving significant viewer growth and cementing the platform’s rising prominence. As a major shareholder, Bongino’s influence extends beyond content, though the company clarified that revenue from his third-party ad arrangements remains non-material to its finances.

Rumble’s press release said the company anticipates Bongino’s eventual return after his public service stint, valuing the standards he set for streaming excellence — routinely leading online livestreams in audience size across platforms.

Pavlovski concluded by commending Trump’s choice, affirming Bongino’s suitability for the role and Rumble’s excitement for his next chapter in national service.
